John McCain & Dan Mielke - The Truth

Greetings,

A little while ago in an email sent out on November 29th by the Mielke campaign (i.e. - by Dan) Dan Mielke asserted,

"John McCain is known for not being a true conservative. In fact, he was a moderate in many ways. In 2007 & 2008, I fought against McCain regarding the McCain/Kennedy bill promoting amnesty for illegal immigrants. I also strongly opposed his liberal stand on abortion. During his campaign for President, he promised to tote the line on conservative values because he knew we would not tolerate anything less. It did not work. In 2008, I voted for Sarah Palin and not John McCain."

Never mind how goofy that last sentence sounds since Palin was McCain's running mate.

About a week and a half later on December the 10th, Sean Duffy was being interviewed by Pat Snyder and Tom King on 550 AM and a caller named 'Bill' called in praising Dan Mielke and took a swipe at John McCain saying,

"I don't want another Dave Obey with a Republican name. I don't want a Tommy Thompson or McCain or a 'big-tent' Republican. I want a conservative . . ."

Sean Duffy responded saying,

"I'm a true conservative and if you have a concern about John McCain, you should look at the buttons that Dan Mielke had out last year that he distributed throughout the campaign cycle that said, *McCain/Mielke* and he gave them to everyone in the party - so he's tied himself to John McCain. If you believe in John McCain's conservative principles - and I uh, use that term loosely, then vote for Dan Mielke but it's Dan Mielke who tied himself to John McCain with those uh, with those political buttons."

After that broadcast there was some chatter about this among party chairs in the district. Many of us recalled that long before McCain had picked Palin as his running mate, back in the early winter of 2008 when we had our 7th District convention there were piles of McCain/Mielke pins on every table! Sure enough look what has now popped up:

McCain_Mielke

Seems Dan made so many there were at least 2 different types:

McCain_Mielke

Some with thin lettering and some with smaller, bolder lettering.

McCain_Mielke

I wonder how Dan's friends in the Constitution Party will feel about this? I mean Dan said,

So while McCain was running as the pro-amnesty candidate, months before Sarah Palin was on the ticket, Mielke (who says he is opposed to McCain-Kennedy) was pairing himself up with McCain? Does Dan Mielke expect me to believe he is anti-McCain when he spent (presumably) donated campaign dollars or even his own money to make these pins identifying himself with McCain? If Jim Traficant were here he'd say, "Mr. Speaker - Beam Me Up!"

Dan Mielke has lied about his support for John McCain. What else has he lied about?

Strike A Blow For Freedom! Dump Obey - Elect Duffy!

Elections belong to the people. It is their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters. - Abbie Hoffman

So what?
David Obey

http://www.famousfaces.org/famousfaces/Abbie-Hoffman.jpg <span class=
Can you tell these hippies apart?

In order to cover up for the failure of the first stimulus bill, Dave Obey has just helped pass a more modest (cough, choke) second stimulus bill. But democrats are not calling it that, they are calling it an 'omnibus' bill - one that costs $447 Billion. Congressman Obey also arranged to hand out $11 Billion in earmarks in fiscal year 2010. How does congressman Obey think we will pay for it when his usual partner in crime Speaker Nancy Pelosi killed his war tax?

I mean when Obey goes left of Nancy Pelosi - can he still really be representing central and northern Wisconsin? Dave Obey seems stuck in a rut, his answer to every problem is to tax or spend. He doesn't seem to have much imagination for any other ideas. I mean with guys like Dave Obey around, we'd have more fiscal sanity if Doctor Evil were in charge of the Federal Budget:

We don't have to take this much longer though, we have a choice. On December 16th in 1773 was when the first Boston Tea Party. Go to StrikeABlowForFreedom.com and contribute to his challenger Sean Duffy. Duffy is a movement conservative. He is a 4 term District Attorney in Ashland Wisconsin who has spent the last 7-8 years of his life locking up the bad guys. Duffy is a father of 5 with #6 on the way. His beautiful and talented wife Rachel just recently wrote a book on being a stay at home mother.

I've had the pleasure to have known Sean since 2003 as a Republican Party activist. Sean is a family man who has strong conservative values all-around, especially in regards to the rule of law as well as economics and values. Maybe I'm a little biased having known Sean, but don't you think this is *the kind of guy we need* as an antidote to the corruption, expediency & end-justifies-the-means mentality of Obey & Obama? I sure do.

<span class=

Want to make a statement? Give $12.16 in memory of the date of the Boston Tea Party. Can't do that much? Give $5. You can do better? Give $50 or $100. Whatever, just give Sean something so he can charge on to beat Dave Obey - the chairman of the appropriations committee who has shepherded every bailout, every porkbarrel project, every penny of wasteful spending since the Democrats took control of the House.

TTFN & God Bless,

Jim

Obey's Gambit - Raise Taxes To Pay For Afghanistan War

Greeting gentle readers,

Only a guy who feels so secure in his seat in Congress could propose the things Dave Obey proposes. I mean - this is a guy who pitches his own record albums on a campaign website:

Dave Obey and the Capitol Offenses
Far Left: Dave Obey

1st he passed that $787 billion blunder we now jokingly call the 'Stimulus Package', now while we are in the height of a recession, he decides we need to raise taxes to pay for the war in Afghanistan. There are several good reasons to do this (from his point of view):

1) It silences critics on the right, after all, supporting the troops is patriotic right? Who would not support that?

2) He already passed a $787 billion stimulus bill, voted for national healthcare (TRILLION$) and all that spending is supposed to be "deficit neutral" right? So this is a tax to make sure we don't create a deficit by spending extra on national defense.

Here is the quote that tells it all:

"On the merits I think it's a mistake to deepen our involvement. But if we are going to do that, then at least we ought to pay for it. Because if we don't, if we don't pay for it, then the cost of the Afghan war will wipe out every other initiative that we have to rebuild our economy," he said. "Ain't going to be no money for nothing if we pour it all into Afghanistan."

Taken from:
Lawmakers Propose 'War Surtax' to Pay for Troop Increase in Afghanistan and
Pressure Builds Over Obama’s Afghanistan Plan

But don't take my word for it what Congressman Obey's cheif concerns are, read his own words:

"We have spent the last year in Congress debating how we will pay for health care reform, which is expected to cost nearly a trillion dollars over the next ten years. The Congressional Budget Office is earnestly measuring the cost of each competing health care plan, and has had most of Congress twisting themselves into knots in order to keep the health care bill deficit neutral. Shouldn’t it be asked to do the same thing with respect to money spent on the current wars? We have already spent nearly a trillion dollars on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - an effort that’s been paid for with borrowed money - and another ten years would cost about a trillion more. If we keep that up, it will devour our nation’s ability to address virtually any other priority." - emphasis mine

Are we talking about the war on terror or healthcare? It's hard to tell going by Dave Obey's favorite newspaper, the San Francisco Chronicle:

"He said the ten-year cost of the war clocks in at $900 billion, about the size of the Democratic health care legislation."

He said?

And that 1st quote came from the 'Health Care Arena' section of Politico. So the image I'm getting is that National Defense (a priority outlined in our Constitution) takes a backseat to healthcare (something not addressed in our Constitution). I got a news flash for congressman Obey - If the Nation is not safe, what we pay the doctor, dentist or our insurance companies won't matter!

That is a 1st principle that goes all the way back to Hobbes, the 1st priority of a nation is the security of it's citizenry. A secure citizenry can enjoy Freedom, a people living in the condition of strife can't.

To put words in Dave Obey's mouth, "If we blow money on a silly war, there will be no money for our newly created and very expensive social programs, especially MY stimulus bill!"

Oh come on now congressman, you are more creative than that, you'll get the money from somewhere right?

http://www.noloadfunds.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/general-us-treasury-11.jpghttps://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_zYMxRYW7j2bfmi7X1zg8kEO2y1ekDVByLJPfSPYsqIj4xn7xrJYlVxbk35vzgeUIhsqCBDSshUbfZ3VpBJCWoPUFUQWUgyFDxDs_JTi8WB7mN7A2y2F2wCfg6LZUCaV3hLjX3PRRzEx7/s400/Dave_Obey_Dollar_Make_More.jpg

Now that's the creativity that made the Democratic party great!

Here's one of my personal faves from Cody Willard at Marketwatch, just in case you think my intimation about congressman Obey's priorities are wrong:

"At any rate, let’s keep the record straight about Representative Obey’s voting on spending priorities, shall we?
David Obey on Budget & Economy

Democratic Representative (WI-7):

Voted YES on $192B additional anti-recession stimulus spending.

Voted YES on $800 Billion TARP Bailout

Voted YES on modifying bankruptcy rules to avoid mortgage foreclosures.

Voted YES on additional $825 billion for economic recovery package.

Voted YES on $15B bailout for GM and Chrysler.

Voted YES on $60B stimulus package for jobs, infrastructure, & energy."

Full blog here.

And my true favorite for the day from the Los Angleles Times which basically shows that congressman Obey is an aging hippie, molded by the Viet Nam era politics:

"David Obey came to Congress in 1969, a young Democratic congressman from Wisconsin, opposed to the Vietnam War and mindful of the funding it was draining from Lyndon Johnson's Great Society programs.

Thirty years later, he is chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and adamant that Afghanistan is a similar quagmire that could bankrupt President Obama's domestic agenda."

It's not about fiscal responsibility, it's all about finding cover for Dave Obey's fiscal irresponsibility.

Obama, The Recovery Act & Fatigue

Greetings,

Watch this video. In it you find some interesting admissions if you pay attention. The president says the 'Recovery Act' helped "stabilize state budgets" and that in turn helped save the jobs of state employees. Not one word about how the Recovery Act created new private sector jobs or grew small businesses, only that stabilized state budgets, saved state employee jobs and created some infrastructure jobs (temporary road construction) which will go away once the work is completed. In other words, Dave Obey's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 was a $787 billion stopgap bill - and that is allowing for the best possible construction. Since the bill really only helped state employees and unions (those road construction jobs) it could be construed as a special interest porkbarrel pay-off. Detractors will say he also talked about Tax cuts - but notice how unenthusiastic he looks when mentioning it as if talking about it were obligatory and he just wanted to get it out of the way. On the other hand, he seems to think that stabilizing state budgets with federal money (the only time he looks really animated) was a worthwhile accomplishment!

Dave Obey Points The Finger At Himself

Now call me crazy - but if I had written a really bad bill I'd do one of two things:

1) Try to fix it to redeem myself

or

2) Lay low and keep my mouth shut

Since I'm not an adviser to Dave Obey and his staff does not seem to be giving him good advice (or he is so foolish himself he isn't accepting good advice, another sign he needs to go) he is out attacking the results of his own bill. Yes, that is right, he is attacking the outcome of his own legislation. I don't know why because months ago he reassured us that mistakes would be made but, "So what" as he said right?

If Dave Obey's projected response was "So what?" then what are we worried about right?

My favorite Dave Obey fix-my-bill-before-the-people-figure-this-out quote comes from the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune:

"The inaccuracies on recovery.gov that have come to light are outrageous, and the administration owes itself, the Congress and every American a commitment to work night and day to correct the ludicrous mistakes," Obey said in a statement issued late Monday.

Translation: How dare the bureaucracy mess up my bill!

The whole thing reminds me of that passage from Holy Writ that says that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. To be sure the only thing that is stable about the economy Dave Obey's stimulus bill created is the rising unemployment figures and rising gold prices that are stimulated by many first-time bullion buyers who think there will be a coming economic crash. A crash caused by the new cap & trade bill, the stimulus bill, the auto bailout and our governments predilection to print money like we are making Lay's potato chips.

Why Obama Could Not Go To Germany

Greetings,

20 years ago something very momentous happened, on November 9th, 1989, people from both East and West Germany crowded atop the Berlin Wall and brought it down to the ground. At the time I was a young man of 23, I had been married for less than a year to my beautiful wife Kristine and it was for me a year of wonder and euphoria. I had grown up in an America that lived under the constant and imminent fear of global, nuclear destruction. I also had grown up a rather lonely child with as many friends as I could count on my hand and was never known as a ladies man in High School. Now it was 1989 and I was married and the world seemed to be entering a new era of Peace and Freedom.

The air was charged with an optimism never felt before, even in popular culture with the song Peace In Our Time by Eddie Money. For many people my age, this was the legacy of Ronald Reagan and there was much animated discussion at the time by pundits such as George Will about how it happened on "Bush's watch" as did Gary Wills later - but Ronald Reagan deserved much (not all) of the real credit while others wanted the credit to go to George H.W. Bush. 20 years after the fact, Bush told Greta Van Susteren humbly that, "...we had a great team working on it, and they all deserve credit." The New York Times predictably gave the credit to the communists:

East German Change Owes No Thanks To Us

2 years prior on June 12th, 1987, Ronald Reagan delivered his landmark "Mr. Gorbachev . . . tear down this wall" speech:

Watch here:

Text and audio here

President Obama recently declined to visit Germany even for one day because he is too busy with an upcoming trip to Asia (he claims) but do you suppose it might be because it is not enough about him? Or could it be that the fall of the Berlin Wall was too much of a statement of the triumph of Democracy and Freedom over Statism? After all, the collapse of the Berlin Wall is the most concrete (pun intended) empirical data you could ask for to show that a Command Economy will fail when left to compete with a Market Economy. This is why in philosophy and political science we call Communism and Socialism forms of Idealism - they only work in your head, not in real life where the rubber hits the road. After all, an 'Idealist' is a person who upon observing that a rose smells better than a cabbage concludes that it will also make better soup and an 'Ideologue' is a humorless zealot who finds fulfillment by spouting the ideas of famous humorless zealots - like Karl Marx and Nancy Pelosi.

And that leads us back to our beloved President who may be an idealist but is also savvy enough to know he neither would fit in at a celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall (because he doesn't really understand Freedom like someone such as Angela Merkel, the daughter of a Lutheran minister who lived under Communism), nor would he want to invite a comparison of his creeping socialist policies to those of the fallen Soviet Union.

Now for those of you without blood pressure issues, watch what Obama did have to say, all 3 minutes and 4 secinds of it:

Not one mention of Reagan, Bush, Thatcher or John Paul II - but he did inject himself and Hillary Clinton into it! What a colossal egomaniac, reminds me of a country song, I'm glad he did not go.

What's this man frowning about?

http://media.journalinteractive.com/images/STIMJOBS05G.jpg

Oh yeah, that so-called stimulus flop you authored (or was it Van Jones? I forget) and that Gov Jim Doyle's appointees at the DWD were supposed to implement.

Word is that Wisconsin's unemployment is the highest it has been 26 years (gee, wasn't Dave in Congress back then too?) and that the number of jobs saved or created by the stimulus package is a bloated number. It would be one thing, I suppose if it had been reported only on FOX NEWS but it has been covered even more by the Democrat-friendly Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal, not exactly a journal of right-wing opinion.

Scott Walker Compared To David Duke When In Truth . . .

Greetings,

In a recent tirade by Milwaukee County Board Chair Lee Holloway, Holloway compared Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker to David Duke. Mr. Holloway obviously doesn't know much about Scott because once upon a time, a younger Scott Walker went on Milwaukee TV and took on David Duke:

Most memorable lines:

Scott Walker to David Duke, "Representative Duke, you don't believe in America!"

David Duke to Scott Walker, "Shame on you Scott Walker!"

Also, for what it's worth, David Duke ran THREE times as a Democrat before declaring himself to be a Republican.

David Duke even ran for President as a Democrat in 1988!

Democratic Nomination for United States Presidential Candidate, 1988 (Louisiana Results) Threshold = Plurality Primary Day, March 8, 1988

Candidate Affiliation Support Outcome
Jesse Jackson Democratic 221,522 (35%) Won Louisiana
Al Gore Democratic 174,971 (28%) Lost Louisiana
Michael Dukakis Democratic 95,661 (15%) Lost Louisiana
Dick Gephardt Democratic 67,029 (11%) Lost Louisiana
Gary Hart Democratic 26,437 (4%) Lost Louisiana
David Duke Democratic 23,391 (4%) Lost Louisiana
Others Democratic 16,008 (3%) Lost Louisiana

United States President 1988 (Louisiana Results)

Threshold = Plurality

Election Day, November 8, 1988

Candidate Affiliation Support Outcome
George Bush & Dan Quayle Republican 883,672 (54%) Won Louisiana
Michael Dukakis & Lloyd Bentsen Democratic 717,309 (44%) Lost Louisiana
David Duke & Floyd Parker Independent Populist 18,612 (1%) Lost Louisiana
Others n.a. 8,429 (1%) Lost Louisiana

After losing the Democratic nomination Duke switched to the 'Populist' party (one of those goofy 3rd parties).

Now for Duke to 1st join and 1st run as a Democrat in the south is completely normal. You see, the KKK was the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party in the south from it's founding. It victimized both 'negroes' and white Republicans. Often klansmen would offer to stop terrorizing blacks if they promised not to vote Republican. Many prominent Democratic lawmakers were Klansmen. Senator Robert Byrd [D-WV] was once an "Exalted Cyclops" in the KKK but later quit. That said, he has made racist gaffes on and off over the years. One of the KKK's primary aims was not just to promote the ideology of white supremacy in and of itself but also to "suppressing Republican voting and running Republicans out of office." But don't take my word for it, compare the party platforms of the Democrat and Republican parties in 1860:

Democratic Party Platform of 1860
Quote - 6. Resolved, That the enactments of the State Legislatures to defeat the faithful execution of the Fugitive Slave Law, are hostile in character, subversive of the Constitution, and revolutionary in their effect.

Republican Party Platform of 1860
Quote -

7. That the new dogma that the Constitution, of its own force, carries slavery into any or all of the territories of the United States, is a dangerous political heresy, at variance with the explicit provisions of that instrument itself, with contemporaneous exposition, and with legislative and judicial precedent; is revolutionary in its tendency, and subversive of the peace and harmony of the country.

8. That the normal condition of all the territory of the United States is that of freedom: That, as our Republican fathers, when they had abolished slavery in all our national territory, ordained that "no persons should be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law," it becomes our duty, by legislation, whenever such legislation is necessary, to maintain this provision of the Constitution against all attempts to violate it; and we deny the authority of Congress, of a territorial legislature, or of any individuals, to givelegal existence to slavery in any territory of the United States.

9. That we brand the recent reopening of the African slave trade, under the cover of our national flag, aided by perversions of judicial power, as a crime against humanity and a burning shame to our country and age; and we call upon Congress to take prompt and efficient measures for the total and final suppression of that execrable traffic

10. That in the recent vetoes, by their Federal Governors, of the acts of the legislatures of Kansas and Nebraska, prohibiting slavery in those territories, we find a practical illustration of the boasted Democratic principle of Non-Intervention and Popular Sovereignty, embodied in the Kansas-Nebraska Bill, and a demonstration of the deception and fraud involved therein.

Even a liberal from Madison knows Milwaukee County Board Chair Lee Holloway is wrong.

NEWSFLASH! Bill Ayers May Be Obama Book Author

Greetings all,

1st I read it here, on a blog that normally covers Lutheran Theology. Then I read more here. Amazing confession. Is it true? According to these blogs:

"There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. Some military guys had borrowed a chair from my table. I looked up from time to time to enjoy the sun streaming through. That's when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.

I asked--what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?

For a moment I thought he might be on my flight back to Chicago. Charming. Initially I guess he thought I was laying claim to his coffee or something. He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture. I asked him if he was speaking at GW? (Only I said GFW, guess I had the VFW on my mind) He said oh you mean GW, he said no...was trying to decide if I was a fan, then said he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me. I said, I know plenty--I'm from Chicago, a conservative blogger, and I'll post this. (Oh, yeah, Bill Ayers, quite the Renaissance man, nail-bomber extraordinaire. Gee, I see another friend of Barack, U.S. Sec. of Education Arne Duncan was there too. "The conference theme is “A Time for Reflection, Celebration and Rebirth.” How touching. At best, useless, at worst, so wrong.)

Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it. I said--why would I believe you, you're a liar.

He had no answer to that. Just looked at me. Then he turned and walked off, and said again his bit about my proving it and splitting the proceeds.

But the question remains--is Barack Obama a fraud? Is his myth-making creation and only major accomplishment a product of Bill Ayers' imagination? (or his own) Is our President Barack Obama's biography written by an unrepentant domestic terrorist?"

Scariest thing I have read about Obama yet. Super-scary.

Read it all here

and here.

NewsBusted - Obama, Norman Hsu, Letterman, Polanski & Other Victims

Greetings,

Always funny:

The fact I saw this video after I wrote my column about Letterman, Palin & Polanski shows once again there is a unity of opinion on these matters.

Palin Vindicated

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits: Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles: 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Remember this story:

Sarah Palin: Letterman Owes Apology "to Young Women Across the Country"

Well, Dave Letterman then 'sort of' apologized to Sarah Palin & her family and the news cycle went on and we kind of forgot about it but now the entertainment headlines are carrying these stories:

Letterman says wife "horribly hurt" by sex scandal

and

Director Roman Polanski Arrested in Switzerland

Hollywood lives by one set of morals and the rest of the country by another. What Letterman hypothetically joked about, Roman Polanski actually did and Letterman thought it was funny. The joke is on Letterman now, FWIW, I feel badly for Letterman's wife, she can't help it her husband is a lout. That said, you think the Palin family is feeling a bit vindicated right about now? Me too.

What's The Difference?

Greetings,

Is there a difference between the organizations 'Mielke For Congress' and 'Citizens For An Open And Honest Government'? Judge for yourself:

Photobucket

The above was from the bottom of this page

Photobucket

The above was from the top of this page

Note the names, also note the irony of the statement, "Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s agent or committee." Clearly, that is not the case.

Furthermore, note the PH numbers and top search result beneath them:

Photobucket

So basically, the treasurer for both 'Mielke For Congress' and 'Citizens For An Open And Honest Government' are one in the same, Dan's wife Robin.

Mielke For Congress = Citizens For An Open And Honest Government

So any robo-call, rally, advertisement, etcetera coming from 'Citizens For An Open And Honest Government' is really just another name for 'Mielke For Congress'. Nobody should mistake it for a band of citizens united together for any common purpose other than electing Dan.

I guess Dan figures that a rose by another name will smell sweeter, especially under the well chosen wording of "...paid for by 'Citizens For An Open And Honest Government'" instead of "...paid for by 'Dan Mielke For Congress'".

Also worth looking at:

China In Lights in NYC - Mama Mama We're All Commies Now

Greetings,

In case you haven't heard, the Empire State Building is going to be lit up Red (to celebrate B.O.s new economic policies?) and Yellow (to celebrate our new Foreign Policy?) to celebrate 60 years of COMMUNISM (that's right this is not a typo) in China.

http://www.lowcarboneconomy.com/Resources/NewsImages/Empire+State++Building+_1235_19112896_1_0_7031211_300320x320.jpg

W-h-h-a-a-a-t?

Read it and weep:

Empire State Building to glow red on Chinese anniversary

A Red and Yellow Glow for Celebration, and for Protest

Blood and Treasure On the Empire State Building

Idunno why but it reminds me of an old Metal tune

To the tune of "MAMA WEER ALL CRAZEE NOW" by Quiet Riot (originally Slade [with apologies]):

I don't want to be a patriot like you do
I should't spend my money but still do

Don't stop spendin' c'mon
Another buck now a-c'mon
I wanna lot now so c'mon
That's right, that's right
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now

A you told me overspending won't hurt me
A you tax me and all my people desert me

Don't stop now a-c'mon
Another buck now a-c'mon
I wanna lot now so c'mon
That's right, that's right
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now

Stop it

I don't want to be a patriot like you do
I should't spend my money but still do

Don't stop spendin' c'mon
Another buck now a-c'mon
I wanna lot now so c'mon
That's right, that's right
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now
I said mama but we're all commies now

C'mon c'mon
I said my mama we're all commies now

Repeat to fade
I said mama mama mama mama mama mama mama oh yeah...

And the original has a certain Carter Era Hippie-kitch to it:

I guess that is what happens when you let a hostile country make nearly every consumer good you buy and also underwrite your national debt, you just have to take these little humiliations in stride.

Germany Moves Further Towards Capitalism & Freedom

Greetings,

Obama and the Dems want us to all become European style socialists but the Europeans are moving to the right! Germany's Angela Merkel (who was often a guest at the Crawford ranch) kicked the liberals butts:

Western Europe Continues to Move to the Center-Right

In more detail here:

Merkel wins as Germans choose centre-right

and

Merkel roars to 2nd term, new coalition in German election thanks to strong ally

Best quote:

"Merkel's CDU and its Bavaria-only sister, the Christian Social Union, won 33.8 per cent of the vote and the Social Democrats took 23 per cent. The Free Democrats captured 14.6 per cent, the Left Party 11.9 per cent and the Greens 10.7 per cent.

That gave the conservatives 239 seats and the Free Democrats 93 in the lower house - for a comfortable centre-right majority of 332 seats to 290. The Social Democrats won 146, the Left Party 76 and the Greens 68."

So while we are close to embracing socialism, the Germans most leftward party - the Greens did the worst of all parties.

Now that's a change you can believe in! 2010 is just around the corner folks, lets see if we can let the winds of freedom blowing in Europe sail back over the Atlantic to us!

Bachmann / Palin 2012?

Greetings,

I just love this woman! I am not a 'Ron Paul' kind of person but I am totally behind Michele on sovereignty & the Dollar.

Idunno if these ladies would be the best ticket in 2012, but wouldn't it be fun to have them run against two limpwristed liberals like Obama & Biden? Could the Democrats handle a 'doubly-historical choice'?

Obama Zombies

Greetings,

I was watching this horror flick a few nights ago and the zombies were making this nearly unintelligible noise over and over, but if you listened closely - I mean I could swear they were saying:

Photobucket

I watched another movie with Bob Hope in it and he said:

I was right! Then I jumped to my computer and googled some video and sure enough:

I wonder what will happen to them after they loose the health-care debate?

Yeah, highly likely.

More On Apollo Alliance, Dave Obey, Jim Doyle & Wisconsin Dems

Greetings,

There were some things I left out of my previous post because I thought it was long enough. If you dig deeper, Van Jones' Apollo Alliance also is dug deep in Wisconsin through an organization called COWS (Center On Wisconsin Strategy) all the way to the governor's mansion.

A Renewable Power Report: Alternative Energy Could be Big Benefit for County

By: Mike Ivey

From: Madison Capital Times

Date: 2/1/2006

excerpt:

The report was pegged to legislative consideration of AB15, a bill adopting recommendations from Gov. Jim Doyle’s Task Force on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency calling for the state to get 10 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2015. Less than two percent currently comes from renewable sources.

State officials said today the report reinforces the governor’s commitment to growing the economy and making the state more energy efficient.

“It’s right in line with a lot of the things Gov. Doyle has been trying to do,” said Aaron Olver, executive assistant in the Department of Commerce.

Doyle has previously called for state government to get 10 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2006 and 20 percent by 2010.

Nothing wrong with pursuing alternative energy, what is wrong is the Democratic Party picking winners and losers rather than letting the market decide.

Here's another story:

Sweet Victory: Governors Embrace Apollo Alliance

posted by Katrina vanden Heuvel on 07/20/2005 @ 6:03pm

excerpt:

The Apollo Alliance, one of the best progressive ideas of the millennium, gained some important new supporters last week. Six new Democratic governors--Rod Blagojevich (IL), Jim Doyle (WI), Christine Gregoire (WA), Ted Kulongoski (OR), Janet Napolitano (AZ), and Brian Schweitzer (MT)--joined an earlier three--Jennifer Granholm (MI), Ed Rendel (PA), and Bill Richardson (NM)--in embracing the Alliance's goal of achieving sustainable American energy independence within a decade.

Hmmm, so we've got Rod Blagojevich, Jim Doyle, Janet Napolitano & Bill Richardson here . . . I just can't make this stuff up folks. An impeached governor, a lame duck, last term unpopular gov and 2 Clinton cronies - all allied with this Apollo Alliance which used to have Van Jones as one of it's 'award winning' members - and yes, Van Jones is involved with COWS.

Highlighted Screenshot of Apollo Alliance webpage below:

Now let me be perfectly clear, I'm not opposed to alternative energy or Green Collar jobs at all, those are something beneficial. What I am opposed to is the Democratic Party putting more and more restrictions in the form of laws (like Cap & Trade - a law passed to make Al Gore rich!) and regulatory rules that will punish energy industries such as oil, gas, coal & nuclear power and pass laws and ease regulations on ones that they favor rather than letting the free market decide.

It is also just plain sinister to manufacture an energy crisis and keep oil prices artificially high by not allowing for more drilling in places like Alaska and off the Gulf of Mexico where EVERYONE who has not been hiding under a rock KNOWS there is plenty of gas & oil!

But instead Doyle & the Democrats pass laws and start initiatives that favor Green Collar jobs over other businesses they don't like:

Doyle says energy funds will create thousands of jobs

Excerpt:

Ostovich opened the doors of her home in the 3200 block of S. 6th St. to U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Gov. Jim Doyle and U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore Friday. The politicians toured the house to see an example of the home-weatherization program that's about to get a boost in funding from the federal economic stimulus package.

Yeah - the stimulus package that was written by either Dave Obey or the Apollo Alliance - or both.

Dave Obey, The Obama Czars, California & Other Communists

Greetings gentle readers,

This one gets a little complicated but bear with me, there is a tasty treat inside this story. You may recall in the past I demonstrated that Dave Obey and Nancy Pelosi were joined at the hip in fundraising. Well I dug deeper and found Farallon Capital Management was a significant contributor to Clinton aide / Illinois House member / Obama advisor Rahm Emanuel.

Photobucket
Keep in mind these numbers are to the best of my ability to datamine the web, they could be even higher. What or who is Farallon Capital Management you may be asking? It's led by Thomas (Tom) Steyer, one of these twisted guys who embraces both liberalism and capitalism. Probably because Steyer is a protege of a Clinton crony, Robert Rubin (of Goldman Sachs fame).

Photobucket

Now as you know, Dave Obey is the member of Congress who put his name on the so-called $787 Billion stimulus (also called simuless, porkulus, etc) bill, heck - even Governor Jim Doyle says so! Well . . . not long ago a group called the Apollo Alliance took credit for it:

Here (original link)

and here (Google cached)

Now who might you ask is a prominent member of the Apollo Alliance?

http://www.hyscience.com/van_jones.gif

Yup - self-avowed Black Nationalist & Communist Van Jones, now Barack Obama's 'Green Jobs Czar'. Like hey, he's both a Czar and a Communist - how cool is that? This guy obviously did not go through any standard White House FBI background checks or Congressional 'advice and consent', besides the above he is also a '9/11 truther'. But let's not dwell on that, what is even more shocking is this guys ties to power at the highest levels of our government.

So is it safe to assume that Dave Obey was present at the Aspen Istitute event where Van Jones received his 'Individual Thought Leadership' award? Did Congressman Obey take part in voting for Van Jones to receive that award? If so, on what basis?

Furthermore, Dave Obey is THE AUTHOR of the $787 Billion 'stimulus' bill which Van Jones' group the Apollo Alliance claimed it wrote. The Apollo Alliance and the Aspen Institute are organizations working together for common purpose - to create Green Jobs. Furthermore, the Apollo Alliance has been working with Barack Obama since at least 2005 while he was still only a freshman Senator to bail out the auto industry:

While Apollo focuses on maintaining consensus, the Breakthrough Institute aims to compete on the terrain of concrete and controversial legislative proposals. To wit, it has been collaborating with the office of Senator Barack Obama on a bill it hopes he will propose later this year known as the Automotive Competitiveness and Accountability Act. It would relieve the pressure on U.S. automakers to bankroll the rising costs of legacy health insurance -- an expense that doesn't burden their foreign competitors -- and, in exchange, obligate them to invest heavily in energy-efficiency technologies and comply with substantially more aggressive fuel-economy standards. It represents a new way of thinking about environmental policies, says Hendricks, “offering a bailout to the [auto industry] from these hugely debilitating health costs they're grappling with but linking it to an accountability for achieving public purposes.”
From Shooting the Moon

Now who started all these bailouts in the 1st place? You may say Bush did and that would be somewhat true but who's advice did he follow to bail out the banks and the auto industry?

Oh yeah, Hank Paulson!

http://www.referenceforbusiness.com/biography/images/idbb_03_img0217.jpg

. . . who worked at . . . drumroll please . . .

Goldman Sachs! The Wall Street company that Robert Rubin worked at, whose protege is Tom Steyer who runs Farallon Capital which gives money to Barack Obama (who wanted to bailout the automakers in 2005), Nancy Pelosi, Rahm Emanuel & Dave Obey who wrote the $787 Billion stimulus bill that was really written by the Apollo Alliance which until recently employed Van Jones who received an award from the Aspen Institute which is Dave Obey's favorite travel sponsor. Whew!

Yeah, Van Jones
